NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Technical Documentation Lead to join our team to help smooth our publishing pipeline for documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and adapting our current documentation platform with an eye on author productivity tooling, pipeline efficiency and overall documentation system quality. To do this job well, you will need a deep understanding of Sphinx, RST, Markdown, Git, Python, javascript and other related technologies. A perfect candidate would show accomplishments in developing and maintaining documentation for a fortune 500 company with a command of publishing pipelines.

What You’ll be doing:

• Apply your extensive technical knowledge to add efficiency to our documentation publishing pipeline.

• Lead team efforts to develop tooling to help authors create better quality documentation.

• Lead the front end tools to allow a better user experience.

• Presenting and collaborating with cross-functional teams, partners, and subject matter authorities to understand and accommodate needs of documentation.

• Use your proficiency in documentation tools, version control systems, and Git workflows to oversee and streamline documentation management processes.

• Applying your deep knowledge of industry standards, and style guides for technical documentation to ensure the highest quality documentation standards.

• Strongly commitment to accuracy, clarity, and the overall quality of documentation deliverables.

• Employing your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify process gaps, drive process improvements, and optimize documentation workflows.

• Leading documentation initiatives, establishing guidelines, and making critical project-related decisions.

• Working in a fast-paced growth oriented environment and meeting tight deadlines.

What we need to see:

• Familiar in working with GIT repositories and pipelines and have provable proficiency in managing them.

• Strong RST & Markdown Proficiency

• Demonstrable experience developing in Python

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• 8+ years experience developing documentation or similar web based tools.

• Self starter comfortable working on their own or embedded in a team.

• Ability to multitask in a high pressure, fast paced environment.

The base salary range is $132,000 - $264,500.
