PAY: This position pays $21.00/hr (With $1 Shift Differential for Night)
Schedule:
- 12 hour Night shift, 7pm-7am
- WORK MON/TUE, OFF WED/THUR, WORK FRI/SAT/SUN...
- OFF MON/TUE, WORK WED/THUR, OFF FRI/SAT/SUN...Then REPEAT.
- One week you work 48 hours and the next week you work 36 hours
- Total of 84 hours for a pay period and over 40 hrs is Overtime, Paid Bi-Weekly
- Only Work 15 DAYS A MONTH!!
- Every Other Weekend is a 3 DAY WEEKEND!!
Our Pelletizer Operators are essential to our success. You will operate equipment and prepare items for distribution. You will work alongside a team of production workers to ensure our products are produced at the optimal level. Come join our winning team TODAY!!!
This is what you’ll do:
*Operate pelletizer machine to convert regrind into pellets
*Operate Forklift consistently
*Unload regrind boxes into pelletizer
*Stage boxes of pellets
*Follows all company-standard and position-specific safety requirements, and reports any unsafe working conditions or broken equipment
*Follows and complies with all company policies and procedures
*Additional duties as required
This is what it takes: Educational Requirements
*1-year manufacturing experience required
*1-year extrusion machine operator experience preferred
*Forklift experience Required
*Ability speak, read and write in English, Bi-Lingual a Plus!
*Must be able to recognize colors
**Nice to have: Working knowledge of extruders, printers, reelers, quality control standards, and product specifications
Occupational and/or Physical Requirements
*Ability to lift more than 100 pounds with reasonable assistance (Crane or Forklift)
*Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance
*Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights
*Ability to lift objects overhead
*Ability to spend up to 12 hours a shift on foot around hot machinery
*Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects, pushing and pulling objects
*Ability to work inside or outside of the warehouse
