The Collins Aerospace team is seeking a Technical Intern for the summer of 2024 to support the CNS (Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance) Weather Radar department Hardware team. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June-August; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past August 2024.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with exceptional, highly experience engineers in the development, verification and support of communication products.

• Define requirements, perform design and integrate hardware.

• Perform verification and troubleshooting of electronic circuit boards, sub-assemblies and modules.

• Collaborate and interact in a multi-functional, multi-discipline, and diverse development team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem solving and analysis techniques

  • Should be able to understand electronic component data sheets and draw schematic diagrams

  • Have basic familiarity with lab test equipment

  • Self-starter that can work in a highly cross functional environment

• Excellent organizational skills

• Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written)

• Pursuing a BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited educational institution
