Electrical Engineer

 

The position of Electrical Engineer offers dynamic challenges in designing HVAC system components.  We are looking for an individual who is technically inclined and is interested in developing designing skills to meet industry needs.   

 

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

 

Interpreting wiring control diagrams from various vendors such as Johnson Controls, Schneider, Siemens and creating ACAD shop drawings for the application to VAV terminal units. Assisting manufacturing in mounting and wiring of controls including electric duct heaters. The candidate will review and approve terminal unit orders as well as provide training of wiring methods to manufacturing personnel.

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

Description of Experience Required: DDC controls and electrical knowledge. Strong computer-based skills and knowledge including proficiency with CAD programs and MS Office. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and problem-solving skills. Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to take initiative. Aptitude with hand tools.

 

Personal Characteristics: Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual

 

Education: Mechanical Technologist, or Electrical Technologist or equivalent experience required
