Lockheed Martin is looking for energetic and high performing Electrical Systems Engineer to join the DAVINCI team in Denver, Colorado. DAVINCI is the next NASA Discovery mission launching to Venus with a launch planned in June 2029. Working with the Project Office managed out of the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Lockheed Martin is responsible for designing, integrating, testing, launching, and operating the DAVINCI spacecraft through the entirety of the mission.

As the Electrical Systems Engineer / Electrical Systems Integrator for the DAVINCI program, you will be responsible for managing and confirming electrical compatibility of the electrical interfaces throughout the spacecraft, as well as develop and manage the power modeling for the mission. You will work directly with the Chief Engineer on the project and will work closely with a team of top technical talent from across the program to provide the best, unified electrical solution that meets overall performance needs.

In this role, you will:
• Perform the circuit compatibility analysis for all electrical interfaces on the DAVINCI spacecraft
• Drive trades impacting the C&DH, EPS, Telecom, or GN&C hardware
• Maintain the Power Modeling of Solar Array performance and battery discharge through all unique mission scenarios
• Be a key player in Systems Design reviews and Failure Review Boards (FRBs) involving the electrical interfaces
• Manage the System Electrical Resources TPMs (PEL and Channelization)
• Confirm proper signal routing from source to termination through all harness interfaces
• Manage the System Schematic

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years or more of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree
• Experience supporting troubleshooting of electrical interfaces
Desired skills
• Experience working with Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC)
• Experience working to a fixed launch window
• Experience with PEL, Channelization, and Power Model development
• Systems Thinking training

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $94,500 - $178,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
