You will be working with a diverse team in fielding a highly mobile defense system providing the critical capability to shoot a missile with a missile enabling the U.S. military to effectively and reliably defend the U.S. and allied assets around the world.
What does this role look like?
As a Sr. Electronics Engineer on our THAAD Hardware team, you will support production and test of high reliability electronics assemblies, serving as the responsible product engineer during second shift (3pm-midnight).
In this important role you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals and interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters. We need you to be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Oversee and participate as the engineering stakeholder in manufacturing, assembly, and environmental testing of end item/deliverable hardware.
• Work largely unsupervised and be the face of Engineering on the production floor, providing technical support in clarifying manufacturing instructions, reviewing test setups, and signing off on key work instruction completions.
• Resolve test anomalies and troubleshooting, and generation, review and presentation of Product Certification, and also support system level testing.
• Report status to leadership and provide input to program and customer briefing packages.
• Product certification and sell-off documentation support.
We are looking for you to have:
• Experience defining end-to-end performance, functionality and specifications of interfaces
• Familiarity with processes of failure investigation.
• Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
• Experience in different phases of electronic component development cycle.
• Experience with tactical communication and networking.

• You will typically have 5 - 9 years of professional experience for this role.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electronic Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.• Experience interpreting schematic designs and drawings.
• Experience with production, manufacturing, and installation support.
Desired skills
• Experience defining end-to-end performance, functionality and specifications of interfaces• Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).
• Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
• Experience in different phases of electronic component development cycle.
• Experience with tactical communication and networking

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $94,500 - $178,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
