In this role, you will support manufacturing operations for our Space Electronics Center (SEC). SEC builds power and avionics assemblies for all lines of business within Lockheed Martin Space. Our assemblies consist of: circuit card assemblies, electronic modules, and boxes.
This role will require you to be organized with exceptional attention-to-detail skills. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineers, technicians, and other key team members supporting manufacturing.
Key Duties for this position will include:
• Working in a factory setting with a multi-disciplined team.
• Supporting shop floor technicians in a variety of build processes, and resolving work stoppages through hardware support, continuous improvement initiatives, defect disposition, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, requirements specification documents, and define manufacturing steps to meet all requirements.
• Conceptualize assembly using strong mechanical aptitudes (understanding material properties, heat transfer, and structural properties).
Typical Experience:
• 2 years within an electronics manufacturing center with hands-on assembly, soldering, bonding, coating, and wiring.
• Associates degree in a related field (Engineering Technology), or High School diploma with additional specialized training equivalent to a related Associates degree
Available Shifts:
4/10A: 10 hrs/day Monday - Thursday ( 2nd shift)
4/10B: 10 hrs/day Tuesday - Friday (2nd shift)
4/10E: 10 hrs/day Friday - Monday
Basic Qualifications
• Strong understanding of electronic components, and manufacturing processes.• Able to comprehend and follow work instructions.
• General computer skills (MS Office Suite Software).
Desired skills
• 2 years of aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.• Hands on experience with solder, wiring, bonding, and other electronics assembly processes.
• Familiarity of industry standards for electronic assembly requirements such as the IPC J-STD-001.
• Familiarity with SAP/VE-CAMS (Qnotes, Fabrication Plans, BOMs).
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly motivated, strong work ethic, and able to build effective working relationships with others to accomplish complex team objectives.

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $53,900 - $103,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
Premium Pay Statement
