Lockheed Martin Space, SP Program, is seeking an Early Career Electrical Component Engineer to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA.

In this role, you will perform Parts Engineering, development of the program EEE Parts management plan, or applications engineering tasks evaluate new technologies and work closely with Part Manufacturers and Test Labs.

You’ll work on a broad range of projects, in both a laboratory and manufacturing environment, that will challenge you to learn and grow in your career.

This position will require day to day interface with designers, product development engineering and be a pillar support to Senior Component Engineers.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related, basic experience in EEE parts, technologies, and manufacturing processes and understanding of passive components, semiconductor, hybrid, and IC fabrication.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Must be a US Citizen as it requires a government security clearance.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, degree in Science Technology Engineering or related background and/or field of study.
• Basic experience in EEE parts, technologies, and manufacturing processes through experience or coursework.
• Basic Understanding of passive components, semiconductor, hybrid, and IC fabrication through experience or coursework.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired skills
• Experience in design with integrated circuits, semiconductors, and passives devices.
• Ability to manage engineering projects.
• Be able to evaluate current and new developing technologies for the EEE parts for the complex design packages.
• Comfortable with communicating in a variety of forums.
• Demonstrate ability to work with the Program Office, Contractors, Designers, and other agencies such as Part Manufacturers, and Test Labs.
• Provide applications engineering support to multiple program integrated product teams (IPT's.).
• Experience in part selection and obsolescence review.
• Willing to learn and take new challenges, a self-starter who develops solutions to technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Active Top Secrete or Secrete clearance

Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $67,400 - $129,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $77,600 - $146,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
