ES Controls Entry Level Programs This requisition is for roles based out of the Electronic Systems Controls site in Endicott, NY. Our Entry Level Programs are designed to accelerate the development and career of highly-motivated recent college graduates who aspire to achieve their technical and leadership potential. This is accomplished through challenging and rewarding work assignments, technical and leadership training, advanced education, leadership opportunities and exposure, and mentorship. You'll hit the ground running with a company truly committed to your growth, as you enjoy a special camaraderie within programs dedicated to protecting what really matters. You will be an integrated team member collaborating with System, Hardware, and Test engineers in one or more of the phases of Project Planning, Design, Development, and Testing. These teams are dedicated to solving complex problems and developing creative technical solutions to meet customer requirements. Products are primarily safety critical embedded systems such as flight control computers, engine controls computers, cabin systems, flight deck panels as well as hybrid-drive systems for ground vehicles.     BAE offers a number of programs for entry level engineers. These potential placements include the Engineering Rotational Program (ERP) and the VERGE Mentoring program, and Direct Engineering positions. Each of these programs offer mentoring opportunities from experienced engineers, targeted technical training, and diverse technical assignments. As an Entry Level Program participant, you will gain: Experience: Our Entry Level Programs are deigned to provide a diverse set of experiences within various Engineering areas and disciplines, where you will be exposed to a variety of networking opportunities and strategic project initiatives. Diversity: Our Entry Level Programs may provide an opportunity to work in cross-functional and/or cross-site rotational assignments. Flexibility: Our Entry Level Programs provide a great deal of flexibility and choice for program participants, including participant input of 2nd and 3rd rotational assignments for rotational programs, based on business need and availability. Education: Pursuant of graduate degree on a part-time basis is encouraged or required for certain Entry Level Programs. The school and specific technical degree is up to the candidate, providing it is applicable to the business. BAE Systems provides tuition assistance for this degree. Mentorship: Each program provides an opportunity for mentorship from business and technical leaders, which helps expose the participants to diverse and challenging experiences, while providing guidance in choosing rotations, career development, and off-program placement. Personal Growth: Our Entry Level Programs seek to facilitate the growth of an individual's leadership skills through various special assignments, modules taught by business and technical leaders, and potential participation in specialized company-wide development conferences. Our Entry Level Programs are three-year programs designed to develop high potential, entry-level individuals into future leaders. You'll have the opportunity to experience assignments in several operational functions, business areas, and product groups.
