Our engineers are the lifeblood of our company and we’re more than 5,000 strong. With our robust offering of educational and career development opportunities, your chances to grow are limitless.

In Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions (PS) we design, develop, and manufacture state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers to execute their mission.  We are thought leaders in the application of seeker, guidance, and control technologies for precision munitions.

We are seeking an engaged Software Technical Leader who is passionate about the craft of software engineering, enjoys being a mentor to our junior engineers, and who can partner with other members of the engineering community to architect, design, and implement multi-mode seekers using the latest technologies.

In your role, you will be the go-to technical lead with some project management activities as we grow a local Huntsville team to expand and capture additional multi-mode seeker solutions.  You will collaborate with our other technical leaders in this field and provide oversight, instruction, and guidance to the Software team as they successfully execute solutions as desired by our customer requirements and schedule.  This role includes both setting the design of these solutions and project accountability for your team.

If you want the opportunity to be Software Technical Leader for today and tomorrow, we want to talk with you and show you what a career at BAE Systems can mean for you.
