Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Developer to join our team supporting the United States Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center under the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services contract located at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.  The C5ISR Center is an applied research and advanced technology development center which develops and integrates C5ISR technologies that enable information dominance and decisive lethality for the networked Warfighters. The C5ISR Center provides the Army with secure communications/networking technologies through R&D innovations. The successful candidate will serve as a Senior Developer supporting CSIA engineering and operations. 

This position designs and develops applications software and systems. Collaborates with hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs, analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Must be able to create logical and functional software code in a variety of languages. Must have experience in understanding and articulating the benefits and risks associated with different coding languages in different functional environments. Must have experience reacting to problems and correcting the program as necessary.

Required Skills and Education

• Minimum education of Bachelor's Degree. Minimum degree requirement of Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline is required
• Minimum years of experience of 5 years.  8 years of additional Relevant Experience may be substituted for education requirement
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT II Security+
• Secret level clearance
