Role and Responsibilities

Prepare to design stable and flexible system even under high loads of traffic. Participate in establishing server by designing or introducing framework by using components that are suitable for system. Develop server by using components or newly developed components suitable for server environment. Perform to develop interworking modules linking business logic with database. Quickly prototype and develop consumer-facing software services that will be displayed on millions of devices. Build a software system with a test-driven development / Agile approach. Perform rapid deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting around the cloud-hosted software environments. Work in large-scale multi-tier cloud applications and environments. Perform debugging, diagnosing, and troubleshooting of complex production software.

Skills and Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any Software, Engineering, or related job titles. In Lieu of a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience, Employer is willing to accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any Software, Engineering, or related job titles. Applicants must have 2 years of experience (5 years in possession of a relevant Bachelor’s degree) in the following: (1) Erlang for building scalable platform), OTP libraries & Pattern Matching techniques; (2) BERT files bridge communication between two disparate systems and to efficiently parse and filter data; (3) Caching (ETS) to store and retrieve data efficiently to help reduce the execution time of application; (4) Redbug debugging tool to trace down issue origin and to instruct the Erlang VM to generate “trace messages”; (5) Json, yaml standard format to communicate data between two systems; (6) AWS to run applications and store, query, and retrieve data on cloud including EC2, S3, Cloudfront, Athena; (7) developing and sharing application in a containerized form with Docker and Kubernetes; (8) Privacy (CCPA / GDPR) to implement various privacy laws to give the user option to share personal data; (9) Agile methodologies to focus on working software over comprehensive documentation; (10) using Rebar, Erlang Build tool to handle external dependencies; and (11) Eunit testing suite for all our Erlang applications.

Compensation for this role between $169,229 – $189,229/Year
