Enterprise Distribution Lead
SUMMARY: Hunter Douglas is looking for a warehousing and distribution professional to advance our
capabilities for the North American Logistics & Distribution team. This position will support our sites in the
US and drive value by identifying improvement opportunities in areas such as organizational efficiency,
processes, system enhancements, & analytics. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Hunter Douglas’
Operations, other internal stakeholders (ie- Logistics, SC Planning, & Procurement) and service providers (ie- 3PL’s, carriers, & other LSP’s) to both develop and execute our distribution strategy.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the shipping, receiving, & warehousing activity for a multi-site distribution and production
network.
Identify, manage, & implement projects/CI initiatives to improve performance in areas such as inventory accuracy, throughput, and capacity utilization.
Develop and document best practices and standardize processes across the network.
Ensure organizational 100% compliance to all local and federal occupational health and safety regulations.
Build a culture focused on innovation, fulfillment, and talent development.
Collaborate with HR and Operations for efficient labor planning.
Achieve inventory accuracy targets by executing effective cycle and physical inventory counts
Partner with Operations to optimize the flow of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Work with Finance & Logistics leaders to develop/track Budget and Capital Planning
Act as the SME for distribution by monitoring industry publications and attending events in an effort to
be aware of emerging trends, capabilities, & technology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty at an
above average level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill,
and/or ability required. Ability to travel approximately 30%.
Education, Experience, Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering, or Business
Administration; or +10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Competencies, Skills, Knowledge:
Multi-modal shipping & receiving experience (parcel, ocean, air, rail, LTL, & truckload).
Experience managing 3PL relationships
Certifications/Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement(CI)
Subject matter expertise in distribution technologies like WMS, OMS, & TMS (required)
Import and Export experience
Experience with CTPAT certifications/requirements
Demonstrates organizational awareness and uses influence effectively to promote positive change
Project Management and strategy development
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Experience collaborating cross-functionally
Bi-lingual(Spanish/English) (preferred)

Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual base salary range: $90,000-$101,000
- Bonus target range: 20-25%
