These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.The Engineering Planner Associate is an entry level position and will support Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Global Sustainment Moorestown Technical Publications in planning, development, statusing, and delivery of Technical Manuals (TMs) for U.S. Department of Defense programs Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Acquisition (New Construction/Pre-Delivery), LCS Sustainment (Post-Delivery (IPDA/PSA)), and Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
The Engineering Planner Associate will perform administrative duties, technical tasks, and programmatic interactions with customers as directed by functional management and supervisory project staff. The associate will maintain current and accurate Microsoft (MS) Access database records for TMs, utilize MS Access to develop reports for the customer, verify the accuracy of these reports, perform Quality Assurance (QA) reviews on TMs, create and submit all required delivery documentation, and utilize multiple SharePoint sites. In addition, this position will be responsible for understanding and utilizing a MS Access database of all source data utilized for TM updates to create/maintain Bibliographies in MS Word/Adobe PDF for production, utilizing track changes formatting, which documents all TMs to be updated and the source data to be used for the updates.
Basic Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office suite (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access) and Adobe PDF
- Experience accurately inputting data into a MS Access database
- Experience creating MS Access database queries and reports
- Experience with maintaining current and accurate MS Access database records for assets/information
- Experience creating and verifying accuracy of MS Access database reports
- Experience maintaining MS Outlook inboxes, including establishing and updating calendars and distribution lists
- Experience performing QA (Quality Assurance)/Editorial reviews
- Able to clearly and concisely communicate in writing and in presentations
- Able to demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving skills
- Able to work in a diverse, fast-paced team corporate environment
- Able to organize effectively, be able to provide accurate and detailed status on tasks
- Able to work independently, self-starter, ensuring tasks are completed on time without daily monitoring

Desired skills
- Experience performing TM QA (Quality Assurance)/Editorial reviews- Knowledge of and/or experience with processes for development and delivery of TMs or Publications
- Knowledge of MIL-DTL-24784; DOD General Acquisition and Development Requirements for Technical Manuals
- Experience with coordination and processing high volume of deliverables
- Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office suite (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access) and Adobe PDF
- Experience working in and maintaining folders on a network ShareDrive, utilized within an entire department
- Experience with navigating Sharepoint sites
- Experience creating and maintaining Work Instructions and/or Standard Operating Procedures
- Experience coordinating meetings, recording minutes and action items
- Experience with US Navy and/or other military personnel
- Knowledge and/or experience with design and development of MS Access databases
- Experience and knowledge of engineering source documentation

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $47,800 - $91,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
