Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Analyst to join our equipment maintenance team in Tukwila, WA.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Boeing Testing & Evaluation Equipment Maintenance Team supporting asset maintenance for Boeing Testing & Evaluation (BT&E) and Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T).

This position resides within the Boeing Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES) organization and is part of a larger capability responsible for Boeing Testing & Evaluation (BT&E) and Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) maintenance in the Puget Sound region. This position is responsible for Maximo (CMMS) data management and analytics for use by leadership and maintenance crafts.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Mid-Level or Senior Level Equipment Maintenance Analyst.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitors existing sophisticated contract(s) to determine compliance

  • Develops contract specifications for supplier goods and services and relevant documents

  • Interacts with suppliers and buyers

  • Generates plans, acquires materials, and schedules services for facilities activities

  • Crafts and deploys schedules based on system, customer, and regulatory requirements

  • Communicates with internal and external suppliers and customers to coordinate scheduled activities

  • May research open jobs and validate and confirm availability of labor and non-labor resources (e.g., tools, parts) and assets (e.g., machinery, building, equipment) in order to meet routine or complex customer service requests, acquisition and modification of assets, government requirements (e.g., environment, safety), and planned maintenance activities

  • Leads efforts to review, build, improve, and document processes and procedures related to facilities operations

  • Leads or participates in meetings with other organizations such as SHEA, S & MP, Document Control, Legal, Security and Fire, IT) to build and validate processes

  • Uses project management tools and industry-recognized concepts to develop scope of work, budget, and schedules to achieve desired outcomes on time and within budget

  • Defines, designs, and plans projects

  • May coordinate and lead the project team

  • Takes a lead role in collecting data from various systems to perform analysis

  • Identifies and analyzes deficiencies

  • Analyzes trend data to find opportunities for improvement and to develop resolution plans for buildings, equipment, systems, processes, and procedures

  • Makes recommendations and implements improvements

  • Supports research efforts or independently conducts studies using multifaceted media (such as financial data, internet, reports, benchmarking studies, new technology, etc.) for determining feasibility, viability, or capability in support of a program, project or customer request

  • Prepares and presents reports explaining options, impact, and recommendations

  • Receives internal and external customer requests for services or goods related to buildings, equipment, and systems

  • Coordinates the processing of sophisticated or outstanding requests to meet customer needs

  • Provides general technical support and troubleshooting assistance for various facilities hardware, software, systems, or processes

  • Ensures that configuration control is maintained for data, processes, equipment, and documents

  • Delivers process training and supports the creation of training materials

  • Coordinates with internal training organizations and outside vendors as applicable

  • Performs problem resolution in support of business operations by investigating, developing and preparing alternatives, impact statements, and recommendations

  • Takes into consideration objectives and strategies that meet business and infrastructure requirements

  • Conducts studies and makes recommendations to support business operations

  • Provides input into budget development

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems

  • 3+ years of experience working using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • 3+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables

  • 1+ years of experience performing data analysis and/or reporting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor degree or higher

  • 1+ years of experience with querying and updating SQL Server databases

  • 1+ years of experience understanding of ODBC connectivity

  • 1+ years of experience leading and managing projects

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid-Level (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range level 3: $86,700 – $117,300

Summary pay range level 4: $105,400 – $142,600
