As the Exhibit Laborer (also referred to as Display Person), you'll help assist our Corporate Rental team within the workshop. Under the guidance of Senior Personnel and the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for servicing & prepping various client exhibits and properties for tradeshows. Exhibit Laborer / Display Person Responsibilities

  • Service & manage small projects such as; client pull & preps, receiving, check-ins and on-site supervision for small to medium sized accounts.
  • Work from start to finish independently and / or as part of a team and under the direction of a Senior Display Person Service and/or management.
  • Responsible to complete projects on time and within estimated hours per written work order and or as discussed in put-to-work meetings
  • Utilize a high quality level in pulling/prepping/servicing of exhibits and client properties
  • Stay knowledgeable of all assigned client properties and applicable client products.
  • May be assigned as a lead directing the work of other Display Person - Service personnel assigned to service accounts.
  • Complete detailed movement sheets and damaged, missing, added reports and all other required paper work; final review of all components through final job review process
  • Maintain professionalism in dealing with all shop personnel, office staff, customers and vendors
  • Potential to lead/direct others on small projects
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • May be required to assist in training new service personnel
  • May provide onsite supervision for assigned client setups
  • Develop strong relationships with assigned clients

Requirements

Exhibit Laborer / Display Person Requirements

  • High School diploma / GED and or one to three months of related experience. 
  • Possess a general reading and understanding of setup drawings
  • Have general organizational skills and be attentive to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, due date driven environment
