Raytheon Intelligence& Space (RI&S) is looking for a Field Service Representative (FSR) to join the National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) team in Washington D.C. The FSR provides maintenance and sustainment support for NASAMS in the National Capitol Region (NCR) and is primarily responsible for local area network (LAN) hardware and software, check out, operation, troubleshooting & repair, testing, and modification to components of the system.
Other responsibilities include movement and accountability of materials, equipment and tools, work site set up, and record keeping within prescribed policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience, a track record of reliability, adaptability & ingenuity; and a desire for a rewarding and challenging assignment.
This position is located in Washington, DC.
Travel:
CONUS (10%) travel is required, International (<10%) is possible.
Required Skills:

- DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g. CompTIA Security+) prior to starting or with within six months of hire date.
- Understand primary cybersecurity policy information including DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework
- Help ensure Cyber policies are enforced and supported leadership reviews
- Experience and education:
- Computers & Networking – digital computers, routers, switches, & firewalls
- Electricity – power generation, distribution, and conversion; motors & generators; synchros & servos; and control circuitry.
- Electronics – radar, radio-frequency communication, wave propagation, and antennas.
- Mechanical Systems – hydraulic & pneumatic.
- Test Equipment & Troubleshooting – Competently utilize technical information (manuals, drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics), common hand & power tools, and test equipment on electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Software - Microsoft Windows & Office product suite, Red Hat Linux, Cisco Network Appliances.
- Driver’s License – position requires travel in full-sized trucks in NCR area traffic.
- This position requires an active Secret Clearance.
- Experience in the handling and safeguarding of classified national security information.
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience with military weapons, radar, communication, or fire control systems. (Specifically: NASAMS, SLARAAM/AMRAAM, HAWK, PATRIOT, ADA Fire Control Systems or SHORAAD, Sentinel or Firefinder Radar Systems,)
- Experience troubleshooting & repairing rack servers, radio communications systems, cables and connectors (including fiber), and familiarity with radio encryption devices.
- CompTIA certification (A+, Network+, or Security+).
- Experience with UNIX, LINUX, or CISCO.
- Experience in the management of computer system security actions and in the development of the procedures that support such actions.
- Familiarity with U. S. Army and/or Air Force organizational structure.
- Prior experience being collocated at a customer’s facility.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL of at least Class B with Air Brakes).
- Familiarity with diesel combustion engines.
- Crane Operator’s license.
- Linux, Windows, and Cisco technical experience.
- Explosive Ordnance handling experience.
- Familiarity with Automated Logistics Computer System (ALCS), or similar.
- Demonstrated understanding of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs)
- Demonstrated understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth and common security elements
- Demonstrated hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data (e.g. Netflow, FPC), and other attack artifacts in support of incident investigations
- Scripting and programming experience
- Knowledge of DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework
- Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study and maintaining proficiency in the technical cyber security domain
Required Education (including Major):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years of experience or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience.
