Arcosa, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst for our Dallas headquarters. This role will assist business operations through preparation of financial presentations for senior management. This role requires strong leadership, problem solving, technical abilities, strategic thinking, and customer focus skills to effectively influence and implement process enhancements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop/prepare monthly financials reports and KPIs for internal executive reporting
  • Understand key business drivers of the businesses behind key P&L lines and adjust to reflect updated information
  • Assist with Board of Directors, Rating Agency, and Investor presentations
  • Assist with capital asset procurement reporting
  • Assist with special projects surrounding implementation of new systems or integrations of acquisitions
  • Provide analysis and support for company mergers, acquisitions and divestiture opportunities
  • Prepare and evaluate transaction models, including determining value, EPS accretion/dilution and analyzing the financial trends and progressions
  • Construct tools to evaluate various make/buy decisions, analyze the multi-industry competitive landscape, identify target companies that fit the company strategic vision, and other special projects
  • Analyze business unit operating and financial results, according to GAAP, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and report findings to senior management
  • Provide management support and assistance as necessary
  • Support continuous improvement efforts through process changes, automation, system configuration, upgrades and integration
  • Perform financial reporting controls in accordance with SOX requirements
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership

 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 2 – 3 years of experience is preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Power BI knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle Financials, Hyperion Essbase, OneStream preferred
  • Experience in plant/manufacturing accounting highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; high degree of professionalism
  • Strong work ethic and highly motivated
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix management structure
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, be creative and innovative
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task while performing various assignments and duties
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including some International travel (MEX)
