Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Prepares month-end financial reporting and accounting tasks, including preparation of job cost allocations, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Conducts weekly cash analysis, accounts receivable billings for clients, track received payments, and updates accounts receivables.
• Prepares variance analyses for management’s review.
• Runs various reports for quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Maintains documentation for business and system processes for assigned responsibilities.
• Maintains and optimize the general ledger chart of accounts.
• Monitors and compares costs on the general ledger to annual company Selling, General and Administrative expense budget.
• Participates in preparing Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) audit requirements.
Education & Experience Requirements:
A four (4) year degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting/Finance. 0 – 2 years of experience in audit (internal or external), controls, accounting, compliance.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
• Accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
• Experience in manufacturing and inventory management accounting
• Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deliverable deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills (oral and written) to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• A dedication to continual process improvement.
