Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare month-end financial reporting and accounting tasks, including preparation of job cost allocations, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Conduct weekly cash analysis, accounts receivable billings for clients, track received payments, and update accounts receivables.
• Prepare variance analyses for management’s review.
• Run various reports for quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Develop and maintain documentation for business and system processes for assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain and optimize the general ledger chart of accounts.
• Monitor and compare costs on the general ledger to annual company Selling, General and Administrative expense budget.
• Prepare Sarbanes-Oxley Act audit requirements.

Education & Experience Requirements:
A four (4) year degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting/Finance, and Project Management. 2 + years of audit (internal or external), controls, accounting, compliance. Experience working in the solar renewable energy field.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:
• 2+ of professional accounting experience, public or industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
• Experience in manufacturing and inventory management accounting
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience on jobs that involve Master Service Agreements work orders and are under $1 million in total value.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deliverable deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills (oral and written) to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• A dedication to continual process improvement.
