What you’ll do:

• Provide skilled assistance in assigned area
• Tack welding (FCAW)
• Train for additional fitter / fabrication skills
• Assist skilled workers involved in fabricating, welding, assembling, installing, and processing by a variety of functions, such as: sorting and counting, feeding, and unloading parts, sweeping, cleaning, rough painting, and other manual labor tasks as needed
• May perform general, manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a construction, industrial, or manufacturing environment
• Requires the ability to work with a tape measure and determine center point 
• Able to perform basic math
• Able to work effectively in a hot or cold environment while wearing the required PPE
• Desire to learn and train up to the next level as a Fitter
• May require working above ground
• Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects, comfortable with heights.
• May require working in narrow or confined workspaces for extended periods of time
• May require extensive kneeling, bending, walking and/or standing for long periods of time
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed

This is an entry level/trainable position. Candidates will need to pass a tack welding test to see if they can be trained in our welding process.
