The Forklift Operator is responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products to meet company standards of safety, productivity, and quality. This includes the operation of basic forklifts in the handling of products. Responsible for preventative maintenance of the forklifts. Position is on 2nd shift, Monday to Friday.Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Providing the goods
o Goods requisition from storage o Moving the goods to delivery o Check the goods correctly with document
· Lifting goods delivery to the truck
o Check condition inside the truck o Sort the goods inside the truck o Check neatness of the goods o Data record in delivery document o Clean delivery area after loading
· Warehouse management
o Keep track of warehouse locations
o Store and retrieve in and from the correct locations
o Maintain FIFO
o Report stock positions
o Participate in stock counts
Qualifications
Education:
· High school or equivalent
Work Experience:
· Minimum 1 year of experience in forklift operation and warehousing is required
Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
· Fork lift driver certificate
· Safety awareness
· Attention to detail
· International Organization for Standardization (ISO) & BRC Global Standards
Language / Communication Skills:
· English and basic computer skills
