Job Summary:

The Advanced Technology/Advanced Effectors Product Area directorate has an immediate need for a Manager, FP&A to lead the Financial Planning & Analysis team of the Advanced Effectors & Space PAD. Responsibilities to include managing the Financial Metrics (LRP, AOP, Monthly Forecast) & investments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure success of the PAD, including but not limited to Supply Chain, Contract, and the Roles & Capabilities team. You will be expected to provide recommendations to ensure accurate and predictable forecasts.

This position is being offered in a hybrid capacity (remote and/or onsite) in Tucson, AZ and is based on the needs of the business. Onsite work will be expected 1-2 times per week. Relocation assistance is provided.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Manage PAD P&L to include AOP, LRP, Monthly Forecasts, R&O’s Balance Sheet (i.e. aged receivables, CIE), Manpower constraints/ Operational Workforce Planning, CFR/AR reporting, Funding limitations

  • Oversee PAD overhead budgets

  • Manage PAD investments (NBI, Capture, Capital)

  • Coordination with SBU FP&A team

  • Ad Hoc initiatives and tasks

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related

  • Typically requires 8 years working finance/accounting experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5 years working finance/accounting experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:

  • Financial Planning experience at RTX

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Familiar and comfortable with Rplan (planning tool)

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written form

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight and prioritize workload

  • Provide continuous improvement and process relating to speed, accuracy, and overall delivery
