Position Overview:

The Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a key role in the development and delivery of a positive employee experience for Pennant Ingredients. The Regional HRBP duties will involve managing activities such as developing a positive culture that enables employee engagement, workforce planning, job design, recruitment, talent and performance management, and training & development for multiple functions within the defined geography.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the operational business strategy by helping to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
  • Establish strong employee engagement and team building programs to create an enriching employee experience. Partner closely with department leadership to develop effective people strategies and reporting/tracking mechanisms to minimize unwanted turnover and optimize full engagement
  • Drive effective recruitment and workforce planning, by developing practices and working with leadership in better understanding talent. Help forecast and plan the operations headcount and talent pipeline requirements in line with the business strategy.
  • Lead programs and initiatives to support our growing emphasis on workplace diversity, building and maintaining a positive and inclusive culture, and ensure people planning systems that are free from systemic or implicit bias
  • Take proactive initiatives to strengthen our employer brand
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to drive continuous improvement, and develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Develop effective and sustainable policies, practices, and processes. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Assist with identifying training needs for business units and individual coaching needs
  • Collaborate on various HR initiatives, supporting the National and Group HR agenda

Qualifications:

  • Education experience
    • Preferred - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Preferably in Human Resources
  • Work experience
    • Minimum - 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including knowledge in HR practices, policies & procedures, employee relations, talent development, performance management, staffing and state and federal labor law or equivalent.
  • Prior Knowledge/Experience
    • Prior HR Experience within a manufacturing environment is a big plus
    • People oriented and results driven
    • Knowledge of labor law and employment best practices
    • Knowledge of HR systems and databases, preferably UKG and Successfactors
    • Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal, and presentation skills
    • Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
    • Business and financial acumen
    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. English language proficiency required, Spanish is a big plus
