As our Human Resources Business Partner I you’ll be reporting our Director, Human Resources and have the responsibility coordinating and executing various HR functions that contribute to the success of our organization. Your primary focus will be on direct labor recruiting, assisting with employee onboarding, employee engagement, and employee relations initiatives. You will also support employees with FMLA administration and questions. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting our local employer branding efforts through communication, event planning and social media engagement.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and execute direct labor recruiting efforts, working closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely and effective recruitment processes.
  • Provide support and assistance with the employee onboarding process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and comprehensive onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement action plans, including employee communication strategies and recognition programs.
  • Support various employee relations initiatives aimed at maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Aid in FMLA administration, ensuring that employees receive the necessary support and resources.
  • Coordinate and assist in planning employee events and wellness initiatives to promote a healthy and engaging workplace culture.
  • Contribute to local employer branding efforts by effectively communicating our company culture and values through social media engagement and other communication channels.
  • Special projects and miscellaneous duties, as needed or assigned
