SUMMARY

Information Technology Manager shall perform IT functions and coordinate interfaces with Government systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain all computers on contract
  • Report daily status of all computers to Government and Site manager.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

This position does have supervisory authority.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the performance of automated information systems activities directly related to analysis, evaluation, manage

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Performance of automated information systems activities directly related to analysis, evaluation, manage, operational administrative task, troubleshooting, and testing of information management systems. Contractor personnel supporting IA functions shall obtain the appropriate DoD approved IA baseline certification for IA Technology Level 1, prior to being engaged.
  • The ability to pass a drug screen and background check 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

All contractor personnel shall have the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary Aviation maintenance team, work some evenings and weekends as needed (per call schedule), walk and stand for extended periods of time and be able to manage stress, as evidenced by the ability to respond and to meet demands of workload, such as submitting proper documentation and referrals in a timely manner as dictated by local policy.

Requires work on military base with requirement for background investigation.

Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled office work environment.

Cherokee Federal has suspended it’s COVID mandate.  However, it’s important to note that Cherokee Federal employees are included as covered employees in U.S. Presidential Executive Order 14042, which mandates Covid vaccines for federal contractors. Executive Order 14042 is currently not subject to enforcement by the Federal government. Therefore, Cherokee Federal has suspended application of the mandate and continues to monitor the government’s guidance on administration of any vaccine requirement.
