Inside Sales Representative

Purpose of Position
Under general supervision, interact with new and existing customers in order to maintain and grow accounts. 

Duties and Responsibilities 
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title: 

• Communicate with customers, including but not limited to phone contact, email, and faxed correspondence
• Effectively communicate with respect to quotes, sales orders, and other data as required
• Maintain and interpret all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations; prepare quotes and contracts for customers
• Establish personal rapport with customers in order to identify current and future customer needs
• Generate prospective customers through occasional cold calling; close sales generated by occasional cold calling; follow up with sales leads

Qualifications

• Prior customer service and sales experience are required
• Knowledge of hurricane protection/aluminum shutter systems is strongly preferred
• Ability to organize, plan and prioritize duties; detail oriented 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel 
• Strong math skills are required
