This is a 5th Shift position: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (3x12) 7pm - 7am

Summary: Perform a variety of hand and machine fusion welding (Mig and Tig) operations to construct powder containers at a higher skill level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all parts to be fitted together for fabrication, i.e., grinding, polishing, and cleaning
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment with little to no supervision to optimize uptime.
  • Work alone with little to no supervision
  • Problem solve minor fabrication & equipment issues
  • Comply with all HMI rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required
  • Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
  • Use of Advanced Level Computer Skills
  • Clear understanding of shop mathematics involving decimals and fractions.
  • Working knowledge of fusion welding processes and terminology.
  • Lifting 25 lbs independently
  • Bending, lifting, squatting, twisting, overhead reaching, standing on feet for long period of time – up to 8 hrs, and climbing stairs
  • May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • 1 or more years experience

We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
