Under broad supervision, responsible for the maintenance of installed infrastructure technologies as well as the installation and configuration of these technologies within specific area. Develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to specific projects and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements. May be involved with the configuration and maintenance of physical and logical network components. Additionally, this position may play an integral role in more complex system integration testing and evaluation within specific technology area of responsibility. This position can operate independently and may complete tasks without direct supervision. Role typically requires between 3 and 5 years of experience.

IT DevOps Administrator

EXSIF is looking for an IT DevOps Administrator to join our Technology organization. Bring your excellent IT skills and dev ops experience to enable innovation, efficiency, and digital transformation efforts at EXSIF. We are searching for a well-rounded IT professional who has a solid understanding of all IT functions and can support and administer our Microsoft cloud environment. Our ideal candidate must have an eagerness to learn about EXSIF’s IT systems and be willing to assist with multiple on-going projects that expand the department’s service capabilities while managing day-to-day routine tasks.

Job functions:

• Collaborate with end users and the software development team to build, configure, and maintain operational capabilities on our Microsoft cloud stack: Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 (CE and F&O), Power Platform, Azure (ADF), and our proprietary Java/WebLogic/SQL Server application
• Collaborate with our Marmon Rail IT Shared Services team on IT infrastructure and IT Help Desk support
• Prioritize and perform IT operations and systems administration tasks
• Create and maintain Azure DevOps boards, repos, and pipelines
• Manage and deploy employee-issued laptop computers
• SQL Server database administration
• Scheduling and monitoring jobs, batches, pipelines, etc in the following environments
  • SQL server
  • ERP (D365 Finance & Operations)
  • ETL (Azure Data Factory)
• Support the software development team (environment configurations, permissions, code deployments, research technical issues, etc.)
• Provide IT support (as needed) to employees, ensuring an effective technical support experience
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate existing workloads
• Execute and maintain scalable, always-on, secure system interfaces
• Collaborate with our technology vendor partners (Microsoft, Oracle, etc.)
• Support the audit process (maintain audit documentation and assist in vulnerability security remediations)
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software
• Assess and take advantage of recent technologies for existing applications
• Share your expertise with team members and collaborate to enhance and maintain EXSIF’s next generation of systems and applications
• Stay up to date on Microsoft’s rapidly evolving technology cloud stack

What you will bring to the role:

• Good character and a great attitude (strong team player)

• Ability to function well in a fast-paced smaller company environment
• 5+ years of experience in IT
• 3+ years of technical operations experience in a Microsoft cloud environment
• Office 365 experience required, MCSA 365 is highly desirable
• Knowledge in multiple of the following technologies and platforms is highly desirable: Azure (VM management, DevOps boards and pipelines, CI\CD), SQL Server, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate / Flow, Power Apps Portal, Dynamics Portal, CE/CRM, Dual Write, Dynamics 365 F&O, WebLogic
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Agile software development
• Ability to quickly learn and understand business processes
• Ability to prioritize and execute technical tasks
• You are enthusiastic about performing hands-on technology work, and you are open to learning and participating in a wide range of technology-related tasks
