Summary:

  • This position is to lead within the Field Enablement program management office. The individual would hold a strong hands-on experience to manage depth of the Veeva commercial enterprise capabilities covering multiple CRM functional areas across matrix functional teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Execute the project manager’s responsibilities through each phase of the project life cycle and integrate Agile ways of working and methodologies.
  • Gain clear understanding of the business opportunity, desired outcome, and scope (key requirements) for each project
  • Partner with business teams and IT, vendor PMs to organize and plan projects for success – Charter; Tasks and dependencies; capacity management
  • Management of the integrated dependencies and milestones in IT/vendor plans against schedule and costs; for some workstreams, hands-on management of detailed project activities; facilitate questions and escalations from workstream teams; Identify, assess, mitigate and communicate risks and issues that can disrupt successful delivery; manage change control of scope.
  • Make sure project teams have what they need to get their work done and that there is a flow of communication up and down through the project.
  • Maintain a Project Workbook and document library.
  • Maintain health status summaries of key activities, milestones, and Risks and Issues; regularly communicate with stakeholders on what’s going on in the project.
  • Schedule, prepare for, and run project Team meetings with post meeting notes


Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience; PMP certification is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry working on Field force initiatives involving healthcare professional customer data and engagement processes
  • 2+ years of project/program experience automating commercial business processes and integrating a few or more of the following commercial BioPharma platforms (Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Integrations)
  • Familiar with documenting current state process flows and/or process mapping tools (Examples: Process mapping in PowerPoints or Visio, etc.)
  • PMP certification preferred, and/or LEAN process improvement experience with commercial focus
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills, with strategic thinking, and a strong attention to detail
  • Team player with good leadership capabilities, a diplomatic approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude

Ideal Candidates Would Also Have:

  • Experience using any of industry standard Agile tooling suites (e.g., Jira, SAFe), and working knowledge in requirement grooming sessions, Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospective, tasks creation, and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with a broad matrix team and ability to influence others and achieve results.
