The Engineering & Technology organization supporting the Joint All Domain Operations (JADO) division within LM Space is searching for a motivated and passionate Systems Engineer to join our team. They will take responsibility as the Lead Ground Architect on one of our contract efforts. Desired is someone with a strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills to be a wonderful addition to the JADO team developing creative and novel technical solutions.

Roles and responsibilities include:
• Lead the Systems Engineering Team through System Design, artifact creation, support to CDR preparation and presentation.
• Provide design oversight to the DevSecOps team, for the Hybrid Cloud architecture and DevSecOps approach.
• Provide design oversight to the Development teams, to ensure implementation aligns to System Architecture.
• Provide design oversight for Security design and obtaining ATT, and ATOs
• Provide design oversight for the design of the DevSecOps environments
• Provide design oversight for the design of the Lab Networks
• Work closely with the Ground IPT Technical Lead to ensure Design, Implementation and Test closes System Requirements
• Provide System Support to help shape burgeoning follow on activities
• Preparing for and presenting to stakeholders, working groups, and customers
• Identifying and assessing potential and emerging risks
• Clearly communicating ideas and collaborate across multiple teams

Occasional travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes
• Architecture, test, and development experience
• Experience with Cameo and SysML
• Experience with the Space Domain (preferably communcation systems)
• Effective oral and written communication skills and an ability to work effectively in an agile team environment
• Be able to hold a Top Secret Security clearance

• Experience with Compass and Horizon LM Products
• Software development experience
• Experience with Network Management and Security
• Experience with mission management systems
• Experience with communication systems
• Experience with overhead ISR systems

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $135,800 - $256,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
