Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position requires the person to review the materials list and identify part on shop drawings in order to complete the layout work for each job part(s). Must accurately drill, cut, and grind. Modify material based on the specific part(s) drawing. Responsible for safely and efficiently operating drill press machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and other work center equipment. Responsible for getting layout out work completed in the designated time provided and work at a steady pace to keep work moving.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Must be able to read tape measure accurately to 1/16
• Must be able to follow all safety rules and guidelines
• Must be able to read prints and cut sheets
• Must be able to operate multiple machines and hand tools

Qualifications

Environment & Working Conditions:

• Able to endure climate changes (hot and cold)

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
• Able to bend, stoop, and climb
• Able to work while standing on concrete for up to 12 hours a day

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Forklift Experience
• Ability to work with basic hand tools
• Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch
• Must be able to read and write
