What you'll do...
Want a fun paying job for the fall? We are hiring temporary lifeguards. This is a temporary/seasonal job opportunity, but with an opportunity to be converted to permanent. You will be a part of our aquatics program for Walton Life Fitness Center. We are actively looking for positive, hard-working water-loving people to keep our swimmers safe in the water as a lifeguard. Work with our Rec Team ensuring the safety, cleanliness and security of a swimming pool and its ground. Ideal candidate will need to have a flexible schedule.
Must be flexible to support business needs during facility hours of 5:30am-8:30pm, Monday- Friday and occasionally weekends.
What you will do:
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity Ensures safety and well-being of Aquatics participants through preventive lifeguarding
Ensures that needs of the Walton Life Fitness Center are being met
Maintains lifeguard certification
Responds to pool emergencies (for example, struggling swimmers, potential drowning)
Min Quals:
CPR certification for lifeguards or professional rescuers from appropriate organization (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA, Boy Scouts)
Lifeguard certification
