Richmond Suburban News is seeking a full-time journalist to cover a variety of stories for our weekly newspapers — the Mechanicsville Local, Powhatan Today and Goochland Gazette. Our newspapers provide hyper-local coverage for communities in suburban Richmond, Virginia.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic journalist who likes telling good stories that help people better understand where they live. Responsibilities include writing about local government, education, business and topics important to residents. Experience with photography and video is highly desirable.
