We're looking for a talented Customer Service Associate to join our team in the Building Products Customer Response Center. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and emails from construction project managers regarding material orders.
• Ensure high levels of customer service are provided through daily interaction with customers, which includes researching customer concerns.
• Manage multiple smaller transportation vendors.
• Schedule, review and assign all product returns from homebuilding.
• Distribute and review reports for purposes of manufacturing, and shipping packages.
• Recommend and implement, process improvements related to hauling.
• Execute on projects assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager.
• Work closely with the plant's Customer Service Department, Materials Department and Scheduling Department to ensure operational goals are met.
• Be willing to learn mutiple roles for department coverage and cross training to other departments within Customer Service.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping/logistics experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities; ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work effectively on a fast-paced team in a professional environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically excel
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
