Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician Apprentice will participate in the employer-sponsored Apprenticeship Program to acquire fundamental maintenance skillsets and hands-on experience in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machines and equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in classroom and technical college coursework, actively participating in the Apprenticeship Program.
• Collaborate with qualified maintenance mechanics to receive on-the-job training and hands-on experience in various maintenance tasks.
• Learn and apply maintenance best practices to keep machines and equipment operational and productive.
• Troubleshoot technical issues under the guidance of experienced mentors.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Comply with safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
• Work towards achieving milestones and skillset requirements set forth by Maintenance leadership.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to learning, professional growth, and career advancement within the Maintenance field.

 

Qualifications:

• No prior experience in maintenance is required; this is an entry-level position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and a passion for problem-solving.
• Willingness to learn and apply new maintenance concepts and techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, taking guidance from experienced professionals.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated dedication to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Availability to participate in the Apprenticeship Program full-time and meet the specified time requirements for coursework and on-the-job training.

Job Type:

• Full-time
• Pay: $17.51 - $19.57
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, including 3 hours of classroom training and a weekend rotation
