Maintenance Technician – 2nd and 3rd shift – Jeffersonville, IN

We are looking for individuals with experience in plastic injection molding maintenance and repair to join our maintenance team. These technicians will be tasked with performing complicated repairs to hydraulic and electric machines as well as other repairs as needed. Troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and with minimal direction is essential for this position. Including:
- Maintenance and repairs associated with injection molding machinery.
- Maintaining equipment operating logs and properly document activities while on duty.
- Completing repair of hydraulic systems, HVAC, conveyors, and pneumatic circuits.
- Troubleshooting ability is required along with welding and fabrication skills.
- Troubleshooting and repairing failed machinery and control systems.
- Following all safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations and standards.
- Repairing and conducting PM's on all auxiliary equipment.
- Identifying maintenance concerns and issues and works to assist with the resolution of them.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required, degree preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in troubleshooting injection molding and secondary equipment required.
- Robotics experience preferred.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawing is desired.
- Industrial electrical knowledge or experience is preferred.
- Willing and able to be certified on forklift (sit down and standup) and scissor Lift.
- Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuous education.
- Excellent communication skills internally and externally.
- Past experience working on plant machinery, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC is a plus.
- Experienced with programmable controls, including the ability to troubleshoot and modify programs through the appropriate tools.
- Frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Noise level in the work environment is moderate.
