Job Description:

Come work for BW Papersystems, a company that believes in “Inspired People, Superior Solutions, Lasting Commitment.” BW Papersystems is an Original Equipment Manufacturing division of Barry-Wehmiller, providing packaging automation and process engineering solutions for the paper industry.

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering student for our 2023 Summer Internship.

During the internship, the students will get the opportunity to work with our product groups in the office as well as on-site to assist with installation/startup/commissioning. Our goal is to give each student the opportunity to experience the responsibilities of a full-time engineer at BW Papersystems and better understand how industrial automation is applied in the Corrugating and Paper Sheeting industry.

Education
Working towards B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.

Experience
Minimum 2 years of coursework in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical schooling.

Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design, programming, and troubleshooting of packaging machinery and line control systems.

This intern position requires the ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities. Candidates need to possess good communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility with tasks and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
