As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will collaborate with a team that is responsible for ensuring manufacturing production equipment is operating in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner. This role contributes to the goals of “no unplanned downtime and reduced maintenance costs.”
As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, servicing, and installing/uninstalling manufacturing production equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance requirements on machinery and mechanical equipment
- Completing accurate and detailed maintenance work order reports in a timely manner.
- Complying with all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality policies, and procedures
- Learning, cross training, and working on a variety of machines and systems.
- Managing and tracking equipment, spare parts, and supplies inventory.
- Participating in department housekeeping tasks proactively.
- Operating forklift, scissor lift, and boom when trained and certified.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a High School diploma/GED with 5 years of machine maintenance experience, a technical associate degree and/or a related certificate.
- Be able to be a part of the 24/7 “on-call” teams and day/swing rotation as needed
- Be able to read and comprehend basic electrical drawings, schematics, and other diagrams
- Have the basic ability to identify electrical components, terminology and differentiate between hydraulic and pneumatic system components
- Have the understanding and use of electronic measurement equipment and hand tools
- Have computer skills, office equipment, and mobile electronics understanding
