Works in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.

Coordinates with Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time-phased plan for procured parts. Utilizing MRP reports, Follow actions in the supply chain to ensure material is ordered and delivered to meet production , the subsequent process of the supply chain.

Coordinates with Manufacturing and Operations Management to determine appropriate lot sizing strategy for make assemblies, analyzes requirement and executes the MRP plan by releasing work orders, ensures implementation of engineering changes to assemblies, and provides timely status to ensure operating schedules are met.

A level 2 employee Typically has 1 - 6 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications
Past experience with Make and Buy Planning, manufacturing and and/or Make Planning experience

Working knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs

Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills

Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired skills
Three or more years of related experience with a bachelor's degree OR one of more years of experience with a master's degree
SAP ERP experience
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge.
Experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas
Green belt trained and or certified
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management

Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $55,100 - $105,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $63,500 - $119,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
