Great Day Improvements - Marketing Manager - Direct Response

 

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with the VP of Marketing to strategize, deploy, and analyze the media strategy for two brands under the Great Day Improvements umbrella.  You should have experience in direct response marketing and possess the ability to analyze data and make decisions and glean insights through data analysis.  Also, the Marketing Manager will track a number of key performance indicators (KPI’s), including Cost per Opportunity (CPO), Response Rates, and Cost of Marketing (COM%), among others.  You will be responsible for making recommendations on media spend, with a focus on Print, Direct Mail, DRTV, Digital (PPC and Social) and Email marketing.  

 

Marketing Manager will be an individual contributor during the time of hire, but that may change as business needs shift.

Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with the VP of Marketing to strategize local media plans with a goal of generating leads and revenue
  • Continuously monitor results by market and help identify areas of growth and opportunity
  • Assist in the development of action plans/strategies to improve KPIs and drive a more efficient marketing plan
  • Brainstorm and present solutions when goals and objectives are not being met
  • Identify and collaborate with agency partners in the production and delivery of marketing and campaign materials
  • Continually refine and enhance marketing initiatives using market research and data-driven insights.
  • Monitor response rates, track performance metrics, and conduct A/B testing to optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Collaborate with other brands within the GDI umbrella to align direct marketing efforts with broader organizational goals
  • Ensure all direct response marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and best practices
  • Manage spend to ensure efficiency of ROI
  • Provide regular reports and updates to VP of Marketing; highlighting campaign performance and key insights
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Marketing and Media strategy, with a minimum of 5 years of Direct Response Marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.  MBA/Master’s degree a plus
  • Ability to analyze date and make decisions based on trends
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a problem solving ability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly in both PowerPoint and Excel
