We are currently searching for Production Associates for Material Handling Operations for our Florence, SC location.  As a Material Handler you can expect to load customer trucks and unload raw material trucks, move raw materials to machines to be turned into customer products, and move finished products to be staged for storage or shipment to our customers in coherence with promoting the corporate vision, mission statement, and core values.

What you need to be successful at Opus Packaging:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Work safely.

 It’d be great if you also have:

• Previous experience in warehouse or packaging environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Forklift experience.

During a normal workday you can expect to:

• Bend, reach, stoop, squat occasionally.
• Drive a forklift for a majority of the day.
• Move and stage material.
• Load and unload trucks.
