Job duties and requirements include, but not limited to:

• Diagnosis, trouble shoot and safely repair mechanical equipment in a heavy industrial environment.
• Read and work off mechanical drawings
• Build and repair couplings, bearings, gear reducers, elevators, conveyors, and mechanical alignments
• Lay out jobs and materials
• Install and commission new equipment
• Work with other departments and their employees, be a team player, perform general housekeeping and clean up
• Must abide by all plant safety and work rules
• Prefer three (3) years of previous experience in the field of heavy industry manufacturing maintenance and repairs.

• Experience in cutting, welding, and fabrication.
• Knowledge of couplings, bearings, gear reducers, elevators, conveyors, and mechanical alignment.
• Furnish own personal tools.
• Provide references of an excellent safety, work and attendance records.
• Possess high degree of mechanical aptitude.
• A means of communication to be contacted and available for call-ins.
• Satisfactorily pass cutting and welding tests.
• Must be comfortable working at heights (up to 60ft) from an aerial lift.
• Able to ascend multiple flights of steps to access work areas
• Previous mining/MSHA experience preferred, but not required.

Pay varies, based on experience with a benefit package.
