Parts Manager- $2000 Sign-on Bonus

Position Overview

There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace. With the training we provide, the Parts Manager helps Arnold to keep that standing.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage warehouse parts movement, aged inventory, obsolete inventory, and inventory to market
  • Supervise staffing and retention, customer counter sales, service/internal sales, new product training, and hours’ coverage.
  • Develop marketing procedures, customer contact, and Silver Service commitment.
  • Handle freight recovery, expense control, warranty recovery, performance management, and bottom-line profit.

 

Non-essential Job Functions

  • Assist the Branch Manager with various tasks
  • Data entry and various office duties
  • Maintain a clean workspace

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Reach to answer phones
  • Read paperwork, files, and records on the computer
  • Communicate by phone and in-person
  • Walking and moving about on foot
  • Hear well enough to receive communication by phone or in-person
  • Bend body downward and forward by bending at the knees and waist
  • Remain in a standing position if required to perform various functions of the job

Qualifications


Requirements

  • Aptitude to demonstrate effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate a computer and comprehend various software programs
  • Skilled in performance management, negotiation, leadership, problem solving, and motivation
  • Ability to manage under stress and with a Silver Service attitude

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook required
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new computer technology as needed
  • Management experience a plus
  • Agricultural background or experience a plus
