How you will make contributions that matter...

  • Issue parts and supplies to maintenance and production employees per company procedure.
  • Answering phones, transferring calls, taking call-ins, contacting emergency services as necessary.
  • Performing fire drill duties, monitor sprinkler system panel and ammonia system panel.
  • Inventory counting and maintenance of part numbers, descriptions, and locations.
  • Perform routine computer work on various programs.
  • Fill out paperwork required for documentation of deliveries.
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized, sweep/mop floors, take trash out, and dusting.
  • Process stock requisitions, place orders and file confirmations.
  • Receive materials into inventory, communicate via e-mail when items arrive for projects.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the parts room manager.

You are best suited for the role if you…

  • SAP knowledge (preferred)
  • Must be able to work weekends and Holidays.
  • Mechanical experience or knowledge.
  • The ability to read and interpret business documents. For example: safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Write reports and correspondence and the ability to speak effectively to groups of customers and/or associates of the organization.
  • Must have good people skills, communicate politely with coworkers and vendors.
  • Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. The employee must regularly move, or lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds. Also, lift 5 lbs. above shoulder height. Reach with hands and arms above shoulder height.
