Principal Accountabilities

  • Help on the production floor to set up the work area before the shift starts
  • Ensure equipment and required materials are handed out and work areas are set up for employees to begin working
  • Throughout shift, check product with Food Safety Quality Assurance to ensure the quality of our product is where it needs to be
  • Work with employees to ensure they are working safe and performing the job correctly
  • Responsible for making sure that orders are filled, and proper product is being run
  • Fill in wherever needed to help the lead and supervisor run the area
  • Become familiar with the Job Task Procedure of each position in their department
  • This position will be required to follow the safety precautions and procedures of each job they perform
  • This position may need to use a ladder to set up/tear down equipment or push product down that has gotten stuck
  • Complete forklift training
  • This position will require overtime, including weekends

Required Qualifications

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to understand the machinery process instructions and monitor/record information regarding product
  • Must have basic knowledge of production environment
  • Must have mechanical aptitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous production/operator experience in a food manufacturing environment.
