Pre-Press Technician I

The Pre-Press Technician I is responsible for tasks that include:
- Setting up production runs
- Operating and maintaining plate-making and bending equipment
- Performing quality checks of finished plates
- Organizing and releasing plates to Press Department to keep production on schedule
- Working directly with customers and production personnel as necessary to work out any problems with a job
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Other duties as assigned
This on-site position is full-time shift work, which may include scheduled nights, weekends, and holidays.Must be reliable and able to report to scheduled shifts on-time and ready to begin work. Candidates should have the ability to adapt to change, prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, remain flexible, and interact with people while demonstrating patience.
Requirements:
- A high school education or equivalent
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn specialized software; experience with Microsoft 365 preferred
- The ability to use small hand tools to make minor adjustments and perform maintenance on processing equipment
- The ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Color vision
