Summary

This position is with Prestage Farms of Iowa.

Operation of CMV/tractor trailer combination transporting market hogs to Prestage Foods of Iowa while following all regulations and company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Operations of new company owned tractor and trailers.

Will not be required to load or unload market hogs.

Maintain all required documentation as needed.

Maintain cleanliness of tractor cab daily.

Maintain trailer panels to TQA guidelines.

Adherence to all company biosecurity, welfare and safety guidelines at all time.

No loading or unloading of trucks. 

Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Class A CDL required with a good driving record

Able to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening

At least 21 years of age

Meet Minimum requirements to operate CMV

Knowledgeable of FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations)

1 year CDL experience desired or completion of certified truck driving school
