Principal Software Engineer, Cybersecurity (PKI Engineer)

The Information Security team has the herculean task of assuring that customers can safely shop with peace of mind knowing their data and information will be safe and secure. Solving some of the most unique cyber security problems in the industry, our team members share an elevated level of creativity and ingenuity to secure data for one of the largest e-commerce operations in the world.
As a Principal Software Engineer, Cybersecurity on the Cryptography team, you will be responsible for providing technical design and architecture advise to internal team on how to securely develop and build applications and supporting systems.
What you’ll do
Assist in the implementation and execution of standards, architecture and best practices for the cryptography, PKI, and key management
Evaluate the risk of change and providing actionable guidelines to reduce the impact.
Using your diverse knowledge base, skills, and expertise to ensure changes are documented clearly and implemented with no impact.
Communicate guidelines to all InfoSec stakeholders.
What you'll bring
Extensive experience in Certificate lifecycle management, CLM products, PKI, SSL certificates trouble shooting, etc..
Familiarity with modern security protocols (TLS, SSH, etc…)
Good understanding of weaknesses in implementations of cryptographic algorithms and implementations.
Experience with PowerShell or other scripting technologies.
Knowledge of programming languages including Java, PowerShell, Python etc..
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field within the last 7 years OR 5 years’ experience in information technology or risk and vulnerability management area within the last 7 years.
