General Production Processing

Description

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

These positions could work in any department of the Processing facility. Some positions require the ability to push/pull/carry/lift 40 pounds or more. Must work in extreme cold or hot (-10 – 105 degrees), wet environments. Work 8-10 hours a day.

Attention: Positions will involve use of a knife and hook to bone out or trim large pieces of product or involve the use of powered equipment such skinner machines. Positions in Processing will involve use of a knife and a hook to trim large pieces of product or run heavy pieces of equipment. Some positions may involve the use of powered equipment such as air knives, wizard knives, saws and skinner machines.

Requirements

Must be willing to work any shift. This facility runs 6 day a week, Monday-Saturday.

All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of the post-offer health assessment.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a rehire waiting period of 180 days and and a 3 time employment limit for this location
